Synopsis: “King of B” is a fictional dark comedy, about Kevin Schmitz, an aspiring actor, who takes his craft seriously, believes he is his idol Kurt Russell. Losing all sense of reality, Kevin ends up in a psychiatric facility. Writer/Director, Lamont Jack Pearley gives the audience a claustrophobic, up close and personal case study of Grandiose Delusional Disorder and it’s effect on Kevin’s world.

What inspired the film? the thought of how far a person would go to achieve greatness, as well as at what point comes a mental breakdown from all the wear and tear of the business. Not to mention I thought it was funny to have some one running around in 2010 with a mullet, 5′oclock shadow and eye patch.
